For Valentine’s day, we partnered with Chicago-area high school student, Joy, and the club she founded, The Wheaton North DuPage PADS club. The mission of the organization is to supply resources and bring opportunities to the families at the Interim Housing Center (IHC) in DuPage County. The Club sponsored donation drives, fundraisers and various events over the last year at the IHC. Joy says they seek to “create a community environment at the shelter and to create opportunities for the children living at the shelter to have similar experiences as other children.”
They made Valentine’s Day care packages for the 130 children at the IHC. Thank you, Joy, for partnering with us. Your beautiful, generous heart is a blessing to all of the lives you touch.
