Pekin Community High School student Gracie Kizer serves as a volunteer at Sophia’s Kitchen. During the pandemic, she witnessed children coming to eat with no mask or poor fitting masks designed for adults. Gracie used grant funds to design and purchase comfortable masks that would appeal to kids so they would be more likely to wear one. We are proud of you, Gracie, and so grateful we got to partner together on this project.
