Seventy-five second graders at Briar Glen Elementary made uplifting greeting cards for “Send A Smile Today.” These cards are sent once a month to cancer patients anywhere in the United States.
According to the teacher who led the project, “The project was a huge success. The students learned how to uplift others through letter writing. The cards will make someone’s day brighter and put a smile on their face. This was the PERFECT project for the end of the school year.”
