Seventy-five second graders at Briar Glen Elementary in Wheaton, IL painted kind, positive, uplifting words on rocks to be distributed throughout the community. Students placed these rocks in thoughtful spots where they would brighten someone’s day. According to their teacher, Mrs. Gower, “The goal for the project was to put joy into the community while teaching our students what a small act of kindness can do.” Job well done, class!
